Laura Linney
Laura Linney, born February 5, 1964, in New York in the U.S.A. She is an American actress who is known for her portrayal of powerful, but fragile characters. Linney was born into the theatre-loving side of her family. Her father was a writer. Her mother, Romulus Linney, was a writer. Linney received her degree in 1986 from Brown University in 1986 and afterward attended the Arts Theatre School in Moscow and then graduated from the Juilliard School (M.F.A.) in New York City in 1990. Her first appearance was on Broadway receiving awards for roles such as Six Degrees of Separation or Hedda Galer.
