Leighton Meester (born Leighton Meester) is an American singer-songwriter and model. Leighton Meester is best known as Blair Waldorf in the TV drama series "Gossip Girl." She began her acting career when she was a young. Her first acting experience began as a young girl, appearing in local productions of "Wizard of Oz." Her fascination with the field grew. Her first jobs were acting as models and commercials. Apart from her duties as a model in fashion, she also posed for the brands of 'Herbal Essences as well as 'Vera Wang', 'Jimmy Choo and Ralph Lauren'. Her acting debut was through the TV show 'Law and Order'. She also took up cameo roles in television films and series such as 'Country Strong,' 'Monte Carlo,' and "Killer Movie. Alongside performing, she's composed songs and recorded music in collaboration with several noted performers, including 'Cobra Starship as well as singer Robin Thicke. The songs of Leighton Meester were featured in the Billboard Top Hits. She also performed in a Broadway production of "Of Mice and Men."
