Molly Tarlov

Molly Tarlov has been an American actress since 2011 and is well known for her portrayal of Sadie Saxton, the star of Awkward the teen drama comedy television show. Tarlov was born in Manhattan as the youngest one of twin daughters. The Little Red School House, Tarlov began her career in the role of Mrs. Peterson at age 10. The play was well-loved by students in the 7th grade. Her summers were spent studying at NYU Tisch and the Interlochen Center for the Arts. She studied a wide range of styles for acting and earned her bachelor of Arts in Theatre at Bennington College. The Atlantic Theater Company was an additional place where she learned. The writer also was incorporated into her show at the LAByrinth Theater master class. Molly exchanged her black winter coat for glasses in black and set off to Los Angeles. Then she was cast in a 3 word role on iCarly, which attracted the notice of her parents. In the years since, she's been on TV in a variety of roles. She also created the character of Caitlin in Winnie Holzman's ABC Family show Huge. Molly is a professional basketball player who would like to think that she's more talented than she actually is. Her favourite writers include David Mamet, Henrik Ibsen and Lauren Iungerich.
