She is most famous for her role as Ashley Banks on the sitcom The Fresh Prince of Bel Air. At the age four, she began singing and received some fame when she pleaded with her mother to bring her to an audition on Sesame Street. As a young girl, she started acting on Sesame Street's children's educational television program. She continued to pursue her acting career throughout New York City with many productions such as Fences, a Broadway production, and Orfeo del Campo that was Off-Broadway's production. At seven, she won Star Search. She received an overall score of 4 stars when she returned the second time.
