Kelly Michelle Stables, born in St. Louis Missouri was an actor at The Muny Opera. The University of Missouri Columbia granted her a degree cum laude in Theatre and Communication. After moving into Los Angeles she quickly got involved in theatre arts, acting as well as choreographing over a dozen plays and musical productions including The Little Foxes Brady Bunch: The Musical Peter Pan at the Thousand Oaks Civic Light Opera as well as 7 lead roles at Los Angeles' award-winning Storybook Theatre. Kelly started landing TV and film roles while she was studying improvisation in the group The Groundlings. She also became a member of Theatre West. Her distinct voice and diminutive stature has allowed her to take on a wide variety of characters. The most famous character she has played is Naomi Watts's evil Samara in The Ring 2, but her most well-known role is as the charming receptionist from Two and a Half Men. Kelly played a part in an ongoing series on TV Land's The Exes which she played both an ex-party-goer and a paralegal throughout the days. Kelly was also a regular as Alyssa's sassy, sexpert sister on the ABC show Romantically Challenged and as the mother of a stressed suburban family in the CW show No Tomorrow. Sopranos voices have been used in several shows including Doc McStuffins Tom & Jerry Sofia the First. Most recently she can be in the role of the slow but lovable Cloud 9 employee on NBC's popular comedy Superstore. She's married to two kids, and has a peaceful house. She loves to write or sew as well as volunteer at schools.
